My paintings are bold and vivid, generally painted with oils and/or acrylics. I studied painting with George Dergalis (Museum School of Fine Arts, Boston) and my paintings are in collections across the USA as well as in Europe.
My art is (or has been) represented in galleries in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, South Carolina and California. Below is a partial look at my available works as well as an on-line gallery of some of my sold pieces.
Please also visit the John Totaro Music gallery. I am a BMI recording artist and released my first single in 1983. Since then I have release 7 CD’s. I have hosted weekly radio shows on the local music scene in Charleston ‘Polluted Airwaves’ and produced and hosted a weekly (4 years) TV show in Boston ‘Rawk Tawk with John Totaro’ that focused on the New England local music. I continue to perform and have performed steadily since 1983.
